      Kaziukas Fair in 1974

In March 1974, the museologist Eligijus Juvencijus Morkūnas recorded the Kaziukas Fair in Vilnius.
During the Soviet era, the fair was held at the Calvary Market. For a few days around March 4, trading was booming.
There was a large increase in the number of wooden utensils in the market – barrels, butter churns, handles, rakes, shaft bows. Wicker baskets, spinning wheels, carved spoons and ladles were traded. The market was diversified by toys and traditional Easter palms (verbos) of the Vilnius region.
